Mommy and Daddy have decided to go into the world of fostering. And I now have a new foster brother named Owen! He is a beagle with the Burlington County Animal Alliance and is believed to be 3 years old. Not much is known about his background, but we know he is an EXTREMELY sweet dog :) and very well behaved. We picked him up yesterday and at first I was a bit scared 'cause he has a big cone around his head. Mommy and Daddy said he is to keep it on for 1 week so that he can heal (he was neutered and had a cherry eye fixed).
I am warming up to the cone though and I am sharing all my toys with him like a good Puggle. I love that I can get him to chase me all around the house (Mommy and Daddy keep separating us 'cause they say he needs to rest!) and I'm very curious about him.
We hope that Owen can find a home deserving of his sweet face and his good behavior soon!
yay owen!!!!! we cant wait to come and play!
ReplyDeleteMaddy you are being such a sweet foster sis to Owen. He looks like he will be a lot of fun once he gets he recovers. Here's hoping he finds a wonderful forever home!

How nice of your parents to start fostering dogs in their (your) home! I thought about fostering as well but I would need our 2 cats permission first; it took Henry and Buster awhile before they accepted our coonhound into their lives. I know Henry is still very jealous of Daisy but they secretly love each other, I'm sure of it!
ReplyDeleteSo nice that you are accepting the beagle and making him feel welcome!
Yippee!! Owen looks adorable :-)
ReplyDeleteHi new friend....fostering is very very good except we would rather not share our toys..unless we have to
