Lake Adventure!

Since Mommy and Daddy were off from work we got to go to the lake today! Our furiend Delaney and cousins Grayce and Danger went too! It was Owen's first time in the trails and even though Mommy was very nervous about letting him go off leash Daddy convinced her to give him a chance...
We had a great time exploring everything on the trails together

And he was doing a GREAT job of following and staying with the group :)
UNTIL...he caught a scent and took off through the woods! Luckily, Daddy as able to find him (much to Mommy's relief) and then it was the "leash of shame" for the rest of the walk but overall we had a great time walking and swimming and being outside! Check it out!

    Oh, beagles will be beagles! Looks like y'all had fun. Our daddy always convinces Mom its a good idea to let us off the leash too, but then she is super nervous the whole time.

    You can't blame Owen...he's a beagle. He was probably hot on the trail of something. Mommy could never trust me off leash. I like to play the chase Oliver game too much. Glad you guys had fun!

    What a nice walk and that water looked so fun to run in.
    I am never off leash when walking. Mommy is tempted to - but I have this nasty (?) habit of NOT LISTENING and thinking that running AWAY from Mommy is good sport.
    Maybe I should rethink my strategy.

    What a day you guys had! I am jealous! It is soooo hot here in TX and I am stuck in the house!
    oh oh Owen's beagle nose got him in trouble huh? My mommy and daddy let me off leash because they know I am afraid of them leaving me in the wild so I always stay close...(of course! telling mommy I am hungry is way easier than hunting my own food!)
